plotsWho it's for
Small-scale diversified growers, half an acre to ten. Time-poor, often working from a phone in the field. Pick the farm that looks like yours.
- Market gardeners0.5 to 3 acresThirty crops, eight successions of lettuce, two market days, and a cooler that has to be empty by Sunday night. Your week runs from the plan to the bed to the table to the bank, and every hand-off is where the spreadsheet loses something. PlotsFarm keeps the planting, the task, the harvest lot, the store listing, and the deposit on one record, so the Saturday table is stocked from what you actually picked.
- CSA farms2 to 10 acresEighty members, two pickup sites, a Wednesday box and a Saturday box, and a card that expires somewhere every week. A CSA week is a roster, a pick list, and a bank balance that all have to agree. PlotsFarm runs the shares, the billing, the pickups, and the retries on the same login as the plan and the harvest log, so the box you pack is the box you planted for.
- Flower farms0.5 to 5 acres · cut flowersDahlias in Bed 3, zinnias on a two-week succession, a bouquet subscription that delivers Saturdays, and a florist who wants 200 stems by Thursday. Stems are counted, not weighed, and they do not keep. PlotsFarm plans the successions, counts the harvest at the bed, runs bouquet shares like CSA shares, and sells the extra bunches from one farm page, all on one login.
- Urban micro-farmsUnder 1 acreTwelve beds behind a church, a rooftop with 30-inch boxes, and a neighborhood that buys by the bag. On a lot this size every bed turn counts, and the plan, the harvest, and the sale happen within the same hundred feet. PlotsFarm maps the beds you have, packs two crops into one, and sells the bag from a page you can put in a bio, on one login.
- Orchards and berry patchesPerennial rowsForty blueberry bushes planted in 2021, a row of figs, two rows of blackberries on a trellis, and a June that arrives all at once. A perennial row does not run on a one-season clock, and the picking weeks are the whole year's revenue. PlotsFarm tracks a perennial planting for years instead of one season, counts the harvest by row, pre-sells the flats, and books the costs against the row, on one login with the vegetable beds.
- HomesteadersGrow for your tableA kitchen garden, a dozen fruit trees, a flock behind the barn, and a pantry that has to last until April. You are growing for your own table, maybe with eggs and extra squash for the neighbors, and the week is a planting window, a scouting walk, and a frost forecast. PlotsFarm keeps the plan, the harvest, and the pest notes together on one login, without pretending you run a business.
- Wholesale and restaurant supplyStanding accountsSix restaurant accounts, a grocer, and a price sheet that changes every Sunday night. The chef orders at midnight, the kitchen wants it Thursday, and the invoice is due in 30 days. Wholesale is a week of sheets, confirmations, and receivables that live in three apps. PlotsFarm puts the price sheet, the order, the harvest lot, the invoice, and the payment on one login, so what you confirm is what you picked.
